Research is the Answer!
This year, 2023, marks the 24th anniversary of the SenioRITA Tennis Tournament at Sawgrass Country Club. Our all-volunteer team effort ensures that 100% of SenioRITA proceeds go directly to fighting breast cancer through research and patient services.
To date we have raised over $2.5 million to benefit research and patient services at Mayo Clinic, Baptist Medical Center Beaches, and the Buddy Bus Mobile Mammography Unit.

Format
Divisions
- Women’s Doubles in divisions by age and level of play
- Age Groups:
40-54 (Levels A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, C1, C2/D)
55+ (Levels A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, C1, C2/D)
Play levels will be verified - Team must play at the highest individual rating and/or lowest age group
Format
- A 10-point tiebreaker is played in lieu of a third set
- Trophies are awarded to champions, finalists, and consolation winners in each division
- A consolation round assures each team of playing at least two matches

- Registrations are taken online only
- Registration Opens: July 31, 2023
- $135/player for the tournament
- $10 non-refundable registration fee
- $25 for Auction Party (not included in tournament fee)
- $50 for Auction Party guests

Tournament Details
First Match Times
First match times will be posted by Wednesday morning, October 11, 2023.
Players Meals: Special dietary needs cannot be met. Please plan accordingly.
If players are scheduled to play during regular meal times, please ask one of our SenioRITA volunteers to set your lunch aside
Breakfast served 7:30-9:30 am each day.
Starbucks coffee, orange juice, and assorted breakfast breads
Lunch served 11:30 am – 2:00 pm each day
Friday: Firehouse turkey sub, pickle, chips, and cookies
Saturday: Carrabba’s chicken marsala, pasta, Caesar salad, bread, and cookies
Sunday: Cobb Salad, cookies and drinks provided by WinnDixie
Cash Bar: Cash bar will be available (no credit cards) You will be able to have a glass of wine or a cold beer. Players will receive a ticket for a free margarita on Sunday, and additional margaritas can be purchased.

No dogs are allowed at the tournament: Kindly, leave your pets at home.

Rain Delays
In the case of weather delays, participants will receive SMS (text message) updates. Please add 1-844-757-4871 to your phone’s address book.
Parking
Parking is limited at the Sawgrass tennis courts and Fitness Center and is restricted to Sawgrass Members. Please park at the Sawgrass Golf Clubhouse. A shuttle bus will be available to take you to and from the courts. The shuttle starts at 7:30am.
If you choose to walk, it is 1/2 mile between parking and the tennis courts.
