Research is the Answer!
2026 marks the 27th anniversary of the SenioRITA Tennis Tournament at Sawgrass Country Club. Our all-volunteer team effort ensures that 100% of SenioRITA proceeds go directly to fighting breast cancer through research and patient services.
To date, we have raised over $3.4 million to benefit research and patient services at Mayo Clinic, Baptist Medical Center Beaches, the “Buddy Bus” Mobile Mammography Unit and cold cap treatments at MD Anderson which help women prevent hair loss during chemotherapy. In addition, this year we will help fund a new MRI machine at Baptist Beaches Hospital.

Format
Divisions
Women’s Doubles in divisions by age and level of play
Age Groups:
40-54 (Levels A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, C1, C2/D)
55+ (Levels A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, C1, C2/D)
Play levels will be verified
Team must play at the highest individual rating and/or the lowest age group
Format
A 10-point tiebreaker is played in lieu of a third set
Trophies are awarded to champions, finalists, and consolation winners in each division
A consolation round assures each team of playing at least two matches

Registration Info
- Registrations are taken online only
- Registration Opens: July 31, 2026 at midnight
- $TBA/player for the tournament
- $10 non-refundable registration fee if you must withdraw.
No refunds for any reason after October 1st. - $TBA for Auction Party (Optional, not included in tournament fee)

Players’ Meals: Special dietary needs cannot be met. Please plan accordingly.
If players are scheduled to play during regular meal times, please ask one of our SenioRITA volunteers to set aside your lunch.
Breakfast is served 7:30-9:30 am each day.
Starbucks coffee, orange juice, and assorted breakfast breads
Lunch is served 11:30 am – 2:00 pm each day
Friday: Chick-fil-A, chips and cookies
Saturday: Carrabba’s chicken marsala, pasta, Caesar salad, bread, and cookies
Sunday: Firehouse Subs, chips, and cookies
Cash Bar: Cash is no longer accepted at the Tournament bar. Credit cards only! Wine or beer will be available for purchase. Players will receive a ticket for a free margarita on Sunday, and additional margaritas can be purchased.

Parking
Parking is limited at the Sawgrass tennis courts and Fitness Center and is restricted to Sawgrass Members. Please park at the Sawgrass Golf Clubhouse. A shuttle bus will be available to take you to and from the courts. The shuttle starts at 7:30 am.
If you choose to walk, it is 1/2 mile between the parking and the tennis courts.
